Ebikery is a new electric bicycle shop that entered the market late 2016 and has been growing comfortably in size since. We are looking for a casual sales staff member to enter our team in the Melbourne showroom. There is a large potential for growth in the future and any successful team member will have the chance to move onto a full-time role. We are reasonably flexible hours, though being retail establishment weekend work will be required. Starting at 3 full days a week.

We are seeking applicants with the following attributes:

  • Professional, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Basic electronic/electrical theory knowledge (desired, though not necessary)
  • Knowledge in bicycle parts and maintenance (strongly desired)
  • Knowledge in electric bikes and conversions kit (desired, though not necessary)
  • Ability to work in a team or solo
  • Enthusiasm for e-bikes
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, stretching across a wide variety of programs.
  • Ability to learn new technology and procedures

Initial daily routine will include answering emails, phone calls, dealing with instore customer’s and maintaining appearance of show floor and bikes. Routine will then expand into more roles such as fitting e-bike conversions, completing maintenance and warranty testing procedures.
